The project concerns the renovation of a top-floor apartment near Mavili Square, a well-known area of Athens. The goal of the proposed design is dual: to revive the character of the building, a typical example of Athenian Modernism, and respond to the contemporary needs of the resident, a young businessman. Due to the limited interior space, the proposal is based on open plan arrangement extending the residence to the terrace and orienting both common & private spaces towards the stunning view of the area. The study requires the complete demolition of the existing walls maintaining only the shell of the building.
